Leanna Wereley started her career in the wedding industry in 1998. She began working as a fashion/wedding consultant for Derks Formals & Menswear. Having a natural eye for detail, color, and design, gave her a leading edge over co-workers and peers and she moved quickly into management. From there, she began to work directly with other retailers in the bridal industry such as; caterers, florists, photographers, and other wedding specialists. Leanna continued to gain more experience as she became directly involved with many of the bridal fashion shows and other tradeshows throughout the Okanagan. Work experience in business management, combined with diverse courses of arts, music & media, through college and university, added more creativity, strength and training to her personal portfolio. Continuing her career in Calgary, Alberta and working again in the bridal and trade shows on a much larger scale, increased her knowledge in the wedding and event planning industry. Her love of the Okanagan brought her back into the area in 2004 where she resides with her family.
